Animal welfare and ethics

This session builds on learners’ knowledge of the five welfare needs of cats within Cats Protection. We encourage learners to explore their own personal views through discussions on biases and ethical perspectives.

The session also details how Cats Protection works to improve cat welfare internally through the use of animal welfare policies and procedures, as well as by being a voice for cats in our cat welfare advocacy work.

I learned more about Cats Protection’s viewpoints and things they advocate for (such as the compulsory microchipping). I found the whole session interesting and enjoyable, thank you!
The name for the greatest good for the greatest number (utilitarianism).
I found out that there are lots of different policies and procedures at Cats Protection.
